Coast Guard Summer Boating Classes

The US Coast Guard has upcoming boating classes this summer to ensure you have the safest boating experience possible. Classes are available both online or in person.

In Person

July 2
July 23
August 13

In person classes are one day from 9am-5pm with a limited class size.

Online

June 6
June 28
July 18
August 8

Online classes are three consecutive 2.5 hour sessions.

Both types of classes cover the same material by the same instructors and meet all motorboat and PWC requirements for New York State. Professional instruction is presented by instructors certified by New York State and Coast Guard Auxiliary.
